Leadership
EPCP is managed by Robert Knauer, who views his undertakings as a mission and values a life full of challenges and learning that makes a positive impact.
Seeking to avoid a life working in cubicles and believing that he owed his country a debt of service, he joined the Marine Corps out of college. The operational requirements of the war in Iraq in the mid-2000s led him to remain active for longer than originally intended. He resigned his active duty commission to study international relations. In the years that followed, he received an advanced degree in international relations, completed a fellowship in Germany, became tenured at the U.S. Department of State, and pursued several complex and challenging assignments in austere overseas locations — some in his State Department capacity and others as a member of the Marine Corps Reserve.
Stemming from his conviction that a strong economy underpins our national security, Knauer developed an interest in continuing to serve the Nation in the private sector. He has teamed up with a skilled group of investors to help him realize his dream of running a small business.
